The mooting at the court house
Monday evening to again discuss
the matter of promoting the pia
no factory loft things just as
they were. The committee had
reported last Friday night, find
ing that the company had 80
acres of land between Tacoma
and Steilacoom, Wash. ; a water
power; a factory; and some un
finished pianos on hand. Mr.
Coops held worth of
preferred stock. The committee
did not feel like advising anvone
to take stock so as to complete
the titty thousand asked here,
but when asked as to what they
would do, reported that they
would permit their subscriptions
to stand.
Mr. Coops is out of the city for
a few days, and the matter
stands in statu quo as the law
yer would saw
At Monday's meeting, the fol
lowing committee was appointed
to get together and outline a pol
icy ot publicity for the city and
