Mrs. Thomas Humphreys, of
Heppner, and who has been in
Hillsboro in attendance at the
funeral of her father, Judge
Rood, returns home the last of
the week.
Arthur Bacon, of Arleta, writes
that out in this county, the
other day, he picked a pint of
ripe raspberries in his sister's
garden. This is horticulture with
a vengeance.
