was out to the city last week,
looking up the records of the
Washington County roads, for
the government archives. He
followed the road lines leading
from this county into Tillamook,
and into Columbia County, via
Buxton. This is done every few
years so as to protect against in
vasion in case troops were re
quired at the coast lines.
