of codling moth is near at hand
1 think 1 shall for tho last time
call the attention of those that
grow apples that this second
brood will Ih with us tho lat tor
part of this mouth, and that we
must spray n.vrain if wo expect
clean fruit. Lven if you have
sprayed for your first brood, do
not by any means, neglect the
spraying for this last hatch. Do
not let it go by saying "I have
no worms now , and what is the
use of spraying again." If you
had killed them all. and your
neighbor has done the same,
then I would agree with you
but some of them have perhaps
sprayed for the scale w hen the
fruit inspector was after them,
and there it may have ended for
the season. Now 1 think there
should be a av If there is not
-to make growers spray for the
worms as well as for the scale.
