State showed that the milk as
delivered by Carter, was up to
the test; and that the milk fur
nished by Gillenwater, to Carter,
w as also abo ve the register. The
jury probably took the view that
the milk had had constant pour
ings, and any one knows that
this, of course, will leave that
which is in the bottom of the
can, in some cases, devoid of
butter fat. The hotel people
testified that they neither added
to nor subtracted from the milk,
but served it as it was purchased,
and the only solution was that
Mr. Shrock, the deputy, must
have got his glass, which was
under test, after repeated pour
ings had been made.
