That it will meet with popular fnvor goee without saying and there will be many responses. The com mittee has also appointed sob com mtttees to solicit aid in the city and an active campaign has been started to complete the amount needed and start the building by May 1, so that all will be in readi ness within a few weeks af'er that date. The committee expect to put up a concrete structure, and one that will be an ornament as well as useful for its in ended pur pose. The letter sent eut follows: Hillsboro, Ore., Mar. it, 1910.
