Mrs. J. C. Miller, mother of Mrs,
Jacob Raffaty, of Mountaindale, is
reported erionly ill at the latter i
home. She is 81 years of age, a
little hope is entertained of her
recovery.
J. J. Meacbam, of Mountaindale,
for many years a resident of this
county, left Tuesday for Soutl ern
Oregon, where he goes to look over
the country, with a view of settling
if the country pleases him. In any
even', he hopes to spend the sum-
imer in that section. His sons are

success, wherever he goes.
