gon Electric Co. is getting rsady to
begin building its line to Hillaboro
and forest Grove. All the steel
necessary to equip the road from
the main line near Garden Home
to Hillttboro and Foreet Grove, is
piled op at a point near Garden
Home, and tbe Company is ar
ranging for tids for tiee in various
parts of this county. It was ex
pected that the Oregon Electric Co.
would apply at tbe last meeting of
tne city council, for right of way
through this city, but the applica
tion probably will be made later.
Tbe weather at present is ideal for
grading, and if all reports be true,
the Company will toon begin tbe
active work of connecting Hillsbo-
ro witn Portland.
