Hare, of thia city, died at the family borne, on Main street, Sunday night, after being a sufferer Irotn carcinoma for several montba Deceasod waa born at Union Springe, N. V., April S, 1S-10, and was married to the surviving bus- band in Portland, March 16, 1H!K! Mra. Hare's maiden name was Anthony, and sh was a cousin of Susan B Anthony, and also a cou sin of ex-Senator Anthony, of Rhode Island. A brother. Charles E Anthony, of San Diego, Cal sur vives of her Immediate family. A. w. Anthony, nephew, and a min ing engineer of Portland, and Mra franc McCorniack and Mrs. Kdilh Buckler, niece, of Portland, are ber other surviving relatives on the Coast. Mrs. Hare had been a member of lbs Presbyterian and Congrega tional churches since girlhood. She was a member of the Kastern Star, the local grange, and a member of the Grand Lodge, Degree of Honor. Funeral services were held at the family residence at 10 o'clock. Tuesday, by Rev. Howard Gilpat rick, pastor of the Congregational oburch, after which the remains were taken charge of by Tualatin Chapter, No 31, Order of the East ern Star, of which order deceased was a beloved member.
