Schulmerich'a dog, last winter, waa brought np in circuit court thia week, a true bill having been re turned. The defendant pleaded guilty, and aa the dog ia now alive. the deputy prosecuting attorney recommended clemency in the case The Judge, after giving the young man aome wholesome advice, sus pended sentence during his good behavior, i oung Anderson's moth er ia a widow, and is highly re garded in the community. John Ingelbrigtson, the 18 year old Cornelius lad, who attempted to wreck tbe Foreet Grove local, on the morning of Jan. 9th, laat, by placing a tie upon the track near Cornelius, pleaded guilty, an was given an indeterminate sentence in tbe penitentiary, of from 1 to 7 years. The case of the State vs Anderson, charged with throwing down a fence on property not his Cornelius voted on Monday to bond tbe district for 20 years, to raise tbe sum of $9,000, with which to build a new school house. Tbe vote was 76 to 32 in favor of the bonding proposition. When the bonds are negotiated, acd tbe money secured, tbe district will proceed to erect a fine new school Louse, the design to be decided later.
