hooked up together in one joint
senatorial district. A correspond
ent from Yamhill county, in the
Oregonian recently eaid that it wa
expected in that fart of toe dia
trict, that Waehicgton couDty
would furnish the caadidato thie
vear. Whether thia meant that
Yamhill is willing to back up acd
stay out of the race, or whether the
expression it as a feeler to see how
many candidates this county had
for the iilace, ia a question. If
Yamhill wants Washington coun
ty to furnish the republican candi
date, we presume that enough

Senator Bourne has issued an
appeal to republican voters to sup

and Fulton is opposing the state
