A seedless and colorless pr hi
been discovered at Hood Hirer. It
baa been named the "Manon pear,
after Mr. Mason, who discovered
it The Oregonian hopes that the
naming of the pear will not lead to
a Mason jar. A Mason jar is a
good thing to have in the house,
bat to bars a jar in a Mason boose
would be un-Masonic.
The Hillsboro Street Fair brought
the people together, showed the
beet stock, exhibited wonderful
vegetables, elegant fruit, fine poul

talent to be proud of in varions
