A touch of real old deont human

day last week a young fellow who
works on the P. K. A- N , at the
tunnel, and who makes good money,
and yet, bat a good time with it,
sent $100 to his mother in Colo
rado. The draft wa enclosed with

while not voluble, must have gone

from a four days' trip in the Ne-
halem valley. Ihey went to er

day drove 50 miles down the Nc
halem river, over one of the finest
roads m the State. Mr. Cornelius
states that the farmers along the
rsebalem are prosperous, their
farms being well tilled and their
houses a credit to any community

is reported that Mr. Brogden re

that of last season, Mr. Cate says

Frank Imbrie, a brother of the
well known Imbrie boys, and who

his father, the late Robt. Imbrie,

the last of the week. While in the
city he remembered to make the
