falling slab of rock, Sunday, about
noon, and . bad both bones broken
in one of his legs, near the ankle
The train went up and Dr. F. J.
Bailey, the surgeon for the com
pany, set the fractures. He was
brought to Hilleboro and from here
taken to the hospital.

W; F. Hoffman, who is work
ing on the Oregon Electric Wilson

last Sunday. He and Bert Mc
Arthur were getting ready to saw
off a piling, when the scaffolding
gave way and Mr. Hoffman fell.

lamette River, striking his shoulder
