Hoereth's wife died some years ago and he wedded the second time. The second wife left him some time ago, and the girl alleges that ber father whipped ber few weeks back, and she followed ber stepmother to Portland. Later she passed into the bands of the Juvenile Court. Officer Hawley brought the girl to Hillsboro yes terday, and she told her story to Deputy District Attorney Wall, and the warrant followed. Today was Hoereth's market day in Port end, and tbe warrant was sent there for service. If tbe charge is sustained in court it will go hard with tbe parent.
