Charley, Working for Dennis,
Injured by Harrow Tooth
BARROW FALLS ON BIS BACK

Charley, the German who works on
John Dennis' place, near town, was
injured by a harrow, one day last
week, the tooth going into the back
several inches, between the skin
and flesh. He was cared for by a
passerby, who washed the wound
with turpentine. Notice of the in
jury was brought to Mr. Dannis,
who went down to bring bis man
tip to a surgeon; Charley wouldn't
listen to the trip, saying it amount
ed to nothing. "I tell, yon John,"
eaid the philoeophio German, "I
was mighty elad der hoes didn't
get hurt. lean stand it, bat the
tooss aber nicht."
His position is ewsily understood
when one knows that Charley
thinks a great deal of horses, and
gives them every possible care.
A few cravenettes left, both for
lady and gentleman. Will be sold
