THEATRE CONTRACT LET
There wat a joint meeting of the
directort and stockholders of the
Hillsboro Amusement Asaociation
this afternoon, to consider bids on
the erection of the new opera house,
to be built on the corner of Main &
First atreeta. The bids ranged from
the one accepted, that of T. P. Good
in, for $2643, up to three thousand
dollars. Mr. Uoodin will com
mence building operations at once
and inside 30 or 41) days a new
playhouse will grace Hillsboro's
business buildings and it will be
credit to the town. All applt
