A. J. Lunton, working at the Ja

from a wagon, Tuesday, and caught
the seat of his trousers in the brake
handle, causing a very ugly wound.
Dr. F. A. Bailey was called, and
attended the injuries. The wound
does not affect him permanently,
and he will be all right in a few
weeka.
Sam B. Gates leaves Sunday for
the east. He will stop a few days
at La Fayette, Indiana, and visit
his old school friends, and from
there will go on to Schenectady,
where he will spend eeveral months
in that big electrical center, taking
points on manufacturing.

by express 100 cases of tomatoes to
Portland, and 40 cases of tomatoes
to Astoria. And yet there are peo
