E. A. Knotts, of Tualatin, cams
up from his ranch Tuesday, and
went on out to where his grading
camp is located, this side of the
Roy school house.
Rev. A. Robinson has so fat
completed his new residence north
of East Main, near the Warren
grove, that he is preparing to move
his family in a day or so.
Geo. Siglef, of Union County, re
siding near LaGrande, waa here the
first of ths week, the guest of bis
brothers, Alonzo Sigler, of this city,
and James Sigler, of Phillips.
Hon.S. B. Huston returned from
Newport Monday evening and
went on down to attend the Astoria
Regatta, which is now on. He re
turns to Newport Saturday.
Mrs. L. Smith and mother, Mrs.
C. Keith, of Walla Walla. Wash.,
are guests of H. Harrington and
family, of Centerville, and will re
turn home the last of the week.
