The marriage of Miss Mildred
Laudderdale and Floyd Maxwell
will take place tomorrow after
noon at 2:30 o'clock, at the home
of the bride-elect's, parents. Dr.
and Mrs. C. F. Laudderdale,' in
Laurelhurst, in the presence of
relatives and a few -friends. Miss
Katherine Laudderdale will attend
her sister, and J. C Allen Jr. will
act as best man. Dr. E. H. Pence
will officiate. Following the cere
mony a reception will be given.

At the parsonage of the First
Divine Science church, last Tuesday,
Francis W. Richter and Miss Clara
A. Rahn were united in marriage
in the presence of a few friends.
Mr. Richter is a well-known pianist
and the bride was a former resident
of Minneapolis, Minn. The families
on both sides are lifelong friends.
The marriage ceremony was read
by Rev. T. M. Minard at noon. Mr.
and Mrs. Richter will be at home-

Miss Helen Versteeg was hostess
at a luncheon on Friday afternoon.

to a bridge luncheon at her Irving-

Mr. and Mrs. George C. Mason left
on Wednesday for an extended east
ern trip, going first to New Haven,
Conn., where their son -Henry will
enter Tale. Before their departure

ry Mason's friends.
Mrs. C. H. Batey will leave soon
for her former home, Keokuk, Iowa,
where she will attend the golden
wedding anniversary of her parents.

the return trip to Portland Mrs.
Batey will visit friends and rela
tives in St. Louis and Denver, ar
riving home in about two months.
