School of Art and is a well-known

He is a praduate of Washington uni
versity, a member of the Theta Xi
fraternity and is a civil engineer for
the government. The date of mar
riage has not been'set.

tiful and impressive wedding cere
mony yesterday when Miss Marie
Jean Fisher, daughter of Mrs. Agnes
Fisher, became the bride of Fred W.
Barker. The bride was given in mar
riage by her mother, Mrs. Agnes
Fisher. Joseph M. Wackrow was best

Dr. W . J. Kerr, president of Oregon
Agricultural college, and Mrs. Kerr;
were visitors in Portland on Friday
when they entertained at a dinner at
the Multnomah hotel and were honored
guests at a box party later at the
Heilig, to witness the production of
"The Servant in the House."
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Robinson are
the parents of a little daughter, born
May 3 lr Pendleton. She is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Robinson and the
late J. F. Robinson of Pendleton and
of Mrs. Nellie Gates Williams of Port
land. The new arrival will be named
Rachel in honor of her great grand
mother, Mrs. Rachel Gates of Port
land. Mrs. John K. Kollock will be host
ess tomorrow at a luncheon at the
Uni-ersity club. Twenty guests will
be entertained with Mrs. A. S. Kerry
in the place of honor.

from California and is being wel
comed by her many friends.
The marriage of Miss Guthrie and
Howard Charlton will be at noon on
Tuesday with Rev. Harold Leonard
Bowman officiating. Mrs. Sidney H.
Ellis Jr. will attend her sister and
Eugene Oppenheimer will be best
man.
