EASTKRN society circles have
been violently agitated by the
announcement that Mrs. Marion
B. Stephens, heiress to a fortune of
vitch Vonsiatsky. engineer Jn the
employ of the Baldwin locomotive
works of Philadelphia. She is 45 and
he Is 23. He served as an engineer
with the army during1 the bolshevik
fighting In Russia. They met in
Paris. They were married in a Rus
sian church in New ork and are
planning to reside in Vonsiatsky's
cottage, while he is to continue in
his present position.
Mabel Cody, a niece of the late
"Buffalo Bill" Cody, is a member of
a flying circus. She does a "dance
of death" on the w-ings of a speeding
airplane.
Washington had a tremendous job
