Wood carried Cottage Grove by a vote of 194 to 156 for Johnson. 104 for Lowden and 4 5 for Hoover. Vernon Parsons. Lane countv candi date for secretary of state, has a sub stantial lead over the field. Klhert ede. Cottage Grove candid-ate for the legislature, has a lead of almost two one over the field in this end of the county, which may overcome the leads' of the other candidates from the center of the voting population. Walter Tooze has a remarkable lead for delegate. All the state measures received sub stantial favorable votes here, espe cially the educational measures.
