The javelin throw of Hanner. Stan ford, of 180 feet two inches and the discus throw of Bartlett. Oregon, of 13 feet, 11 inches established new records, it was announced, for the Pa cific association of the A. A. U. Kirksey and Wells of Stanford, along with Merchant of California, tied for first honors in the number of points, each man making 10. Kirksey won both sprints. Wells captured both hurdle events, and Merchant took first in the broad jump, second in the 100-yard dash and third in the discus. Templeton of - Stanford made eight points.
