Indications are that I'endleton will be the first club outside of Portland to organize. There Frank Curl, well known republican leader of Umatilla county, has been entrusted with the work of harmonizing whatever dif ferences that may exist among party members, with the object of putting the full strength of the republicans behind the party's nominees at the forthcoming election. The Roosevelt clu-b will not indorse any primary candidates, but will give ail of them a hearing. After the pri maries, however, it will give yeoman service to secure the election of the regular nominees. Portland Club Coina Strength. The club in Portland now numbers more than 100 of the best-known re publicans in the city.
