attended by Miss Nell Link and Fred
Mellenger was best man.
Wedding breakfast was served at the
Hotel Portland. The bride is a daugh
ter of Mr. and Mra. M. V. Blevln of
Salem.
The American War Mothers. Portland
tTntt No. 1. gave a picnic on Wednesday
at Council Crest, which waa enjoyed
by a large number of mothers and their
friends. Luncheon was served, and
a silver offering was taken, from which
a good sum was realized, the proceeds
to be used to carry on the work which
baa been outlined for the help and
car of soldiers or their families, as
may be necessary.
