Then If they look on the treasured programme they will find that Michael was not a boy at all, but a girl, and her name was Mailha. Mc Graw. Unlike Peter Pan, however. Miss McGraw has grown up and now she is a promising young actress and Is playing in Richard Walton Tully's production, "The Flame," and will be with the company when it appears at the Heilig Theater next Thursday, Fri day and Saturday. Miss McGraw began her stage career at the age of about iVt years. Her mother was left a widow, with no means of making a living, and the op portunity came to her to have little Martha appear in the first production of "Human Hearts." And so little Martha went upon the stage. After "Human Hearts" the little girl played a long series of child parts and reached tier best in the Michael she created in "Peter Pan." Then there was a period of retire ment and schooling and her next en gagement was with the late Henry B. Harris, who engaged her to play the lead in "The Country Boy." Iater Miss McGraw was with Wlnthrop Ames in a series of other fsrees on tour. Her present role in "The Flame" Is the first serious part she has played In a number of years.
