first annual masquerade ball will be
given. Arcanum H.ill, on Thirteenth
street, near Washington, has been

masauerade was announced for the
evening of February 2, but weather
conditions necessitated postponement.
The additional time hns permitted those
who intend to participate to prepare
more elaborate costumes, and some
novel traibs are to be worn. A num.
