Best, Mayor-elect of Pendle ton, and Dave Graybeal. an .insurance man. were injured and had a narrow escape from death yesterday when the automobile in which they were rldins; blear out a front tlra and turned turtle near lloldman. Mayor Best waa knocked unconscious and It was three hours before he he- came rational. Graybeal. with three broken riba and other Injuries, managed to free himself of the car and with the assistance of Charles Vinson rescued Dr. Best.
