This, is the plan of the general com mittee that is working up a plan for dredging Columbia slough for sewerage and a ehiD channel, and it was aeciaea at the meeting held Wednesday night that a practical demonstration was necessary to show that a current can be turned into the slough, by cutting a new trench for a distance of about 200 feet. A meeting of interested pro-perty owners will be held with the committee next Wednesday night at the home of J. M. Leach. 1140 Mallory avenue, to complete arrangements for this dem onstration.
