HELENS WANTS GUARD Petitions Arc Being; Circulated for Formation of Company. According to a report of Major Knapp and Colonel McLaiughlan. officers of th Oregon National Guard who have recently returned from St. Helens, the business men of that place are favor able to the formation of a company of National Guard. These two officers said that petitions had been circulated among the men of military age in that town and that 125 men signified their willingness to enlist should a company be formed.
