Dayton Schools Have Poultry Club.
DAYTON, Wash, Nov. 20. (Special.)
A poultry club has been organized in
the Dayton schools to promote interest
in raising fine poultry in this com
munity. The pupils, many of whom
already have several pens of fine birds,
will exhibit chickens, ducks and geese
at the Columbia County Poultry Show,
to be held in Dayton December 2 to 4,
inclusive. Valuable prizes are offered
school children for essays on poultry
raising, both by the local association,
interested breeders out of town and the
Washington Stat Collesre.

KIDNEY
PAIN
We Eat Too Much Meat, Which
Clogs Kidneys, Then the
Back Hurts.
Says Glass of Salts Flushes
Kifineys and Ends Bladder
Irritation.
Uric acid in meat excites the kidneys,
they become overworked; get sluggish,
ache, and feel like lumps of lead. The
urine becomes cloudf; the bladder is
irritated, and you may be obliged to
seek relief two or three times during
the night. When the kidneys clog you
must help them flush off the body's
urinous waste or you'll be a real sick
person shortly. At first you feel a dull
misery in the kidney region, you suffer
from backache, sick headache, dizzi
ness, stomach gets sour, tongue coated
and you feel rheumatic twinges when
the weather is bad.
Eat less meat, drink lots, of water;
also get from any pharmacist four
ounces of Jad Salts; take a tablespoon
ful in a glass of water before break
fast for a few days and your kidneys
will then act fine. This famous salts
is mada from the acid of grapes and
lemon Juice, combined with lithia, and
has been used for generations to clean
clogged kidneys and stimulate them to
normal activity, also to neutralize the
acids in urine, so it no longer is a
source of irritation, thus ending blad
der weakness.
Jad Salts is inexpensive, cannot in
jure; makes a delightful effervescent
lithia-water drink which everyone
should take now and then to keep the
kidneys clean and active. Druggists
here say they sell lots of Jad Salts to
folks who believe In overcoming kid
ney trouble while It is only trouble.

DARK
WITH SAGE TEA
If Mixed with Sulphur It Darkens
" Gray Hair So Naturally
Nobody Can Tell.
.aaaawa " f
The old-time mixture of Sage Tea
and Sulphur for darkening gray,
streaked and faded hair is grandmoth
er's treatment, and folks are again
using it to keep their hair a good, even
color, which is quite sensible, as we are
living in an ago when a youthful ap
pearance is of the greatest advantage.
Nowadays, though, we don't hav-s the
troublesome task of cathering the sage
and the mussy mixing at home. All
drug stores Fell the ready-to-use prod
uct called "Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur
Compound" for about 00 cents a bot
tle. It is very popular because nobody
can 'discover it has been applied. Sim
ply moisten your comb or a soft brush
with it and draw this through your
hair, taking one small strand at a
time; by morning the sray hair disap
pears, but what delights the ladies
with Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur is that,
besides beautifully darkening the hair
after a few applications, it also pro
duces that soft lustre r.nd appearance
of abundance which is so attractive;
besides, prevents dandruff, itching
scalp and falling hair. Adv.
