E. Momyer. manager, at ' headquarters at Arant Camp, shows that this year is breaking all records. The total travel to July 31 in 1914 was 3018 persons registered; for 1915, 4176. Total number of autos licensed for July. 1914, was 640; for the same period in 1915, 850. Total number of persons registering for July, 1914, was 2549 and for the same month this year, 3478. Up to the 8th of August this year the tourist traffic totaled S276. and th total number of automobiles coming into the park 1088. The record for last Sunday, up to 1:30 o'clock in the after noon, were 37 autos ana 164 passengers visiting the lake. HOOD RIVER WOMEN ELECT Club Adds 40 Members In Tear, Making Its Total 129. HOOD RIVER, .Or.. Aug. 14. (Spe cial.) During the past year the Hood River Woman's Club has added 46 new members to its roll. The total number of members is now 129. The first official meeting of the organiza tion during the fiscal year will be held on the last Wednesday in September, and the club will meet thereafter on alternate Wednesday afternoons at the assembly room of the County Library. It is tbe only plant of the kind to operate in the county this year. The management said that it would. probably be necessary to double the capacity of the plant next year. The force has been working 14 hours a day and will continue to do so for ion time. N
