on the building. The steel frame has a total weight
of 17Q0 tons, or 3,400,000 pounds. Features of the
steel frame are four girders 60 feet in length, each
weighing 20 tons. With the; use. of these girders,
pillars in the banking rooms' will 'be' entirely elim
inated, making it possible to provide more space and
better light and at the same time do away with
obstructions. .
