The Automobile Laundry business has been growing very rapidly for the past ten years and
in Portland today it has reached extensive proportions. Previously there has been no concern
in this business, it having been conducted as a side line only. Naturally under these conditions
there never has been any development in the method of Washing and Polishing Automobiles,
the work having been handled in the same crude way as in the year one of the Automobile
Industry. The Automobile itself, in the meantime, has been perfected in every respect and
represents one of the greatest developments of the age. The Automobile Laundry with its new
facilities and systematic organization will now meet the. requirements of this rapidly growing
business in every detail. If one man can wash one machine, in one hour in a dark corner,
twenty men can wash twenty machines in less than one hour, under system and supervision.
Special facilities and equipment in a large well lighted building of suitable design to meet all
requirements enable us to give the public a service not yet dreamed of.
