Smith, a streetear man. left his cap and coat on the Oregon Water Power dock, with a note Indicating suicide, the police do not believe he has taken his life, as additional clothing Is miss ing from his home over the Sellwood bank. The note, which was addressed to the man's wife, expresses sorrow for lie the writer had told, and said that by the time It waa received the flsheH would have eaten the sender. Smith also wrote that he Inclosed ISO of his own money and 810 belonging to the transit company, but though the sel was unbroken, the money was not found. Citt Offered Mare for Afro.
