Foremost among the many beautiful June weddings was that of Miss Daisy Katherlne Elizabeth Zander, of Port land, and Frank Marvin Wise, of Los Angeles. This wedding was held at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. A. G. Zander, 251 Hancock street, Wednesday, June 7, in the presence of about 30 invited guests. Rev. Mr. Powell officiating. The rooms were decorated in white and pink roses and carnations, the bridal canopy being formed of daisy chains. Miss Mary Otto sang "When Song is Sweet." and promptly at half past eight, the bridegroom, attended by Harold S. Zander, brother of the bride, entered the parlors to the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Charlotte Layton. Next came Miss Har riet Rice, who acted as bridesmaid, and Mrs. Henry Dawson Zander as matron of honor. After all were In their places. the bride entered the room attired in a long trained gown of white satin, car rying a huge shower bouquet of dai sies. Her wedding veil was also caught up by a wreath of daisies Instead of the conventional orange blossoms. After the ceremony, which was celebrated according to the rites of the Episcopal Church, the bride and bridegroom re ceived the congratulations and best wishes of their friends. They left for Los Angeles, where Mr. Wise is en gaged In the wholesale lumber business. After June 12, they will be at home in that city to their friends. ' Bomgardner-Green. Two Portland school teachers were married at St. David's Episcopal Church, Saturday evening, June 24, Miss Gertrude Bomgardner and William Vin cent Green being the couple. Kev. Hen ry Russell Talbot officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Green were entertained with an au revolr luncheon, Monday, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Harvard, returning to this city In the late Summer. Mra Green Is a member of the Colle giate Alumnae here, being a graduate of the University of Nebraska. She specialized in physics and botany, and she taught physics in the Lincoln High School here. Wyatt. of Corvallis claimed Miss Lena M. Merrill as his bride last Wednesday, the wedding ceremony taking place at S o'clock of that after noon, at 475 East Fifty-second street North, this city. Rev.
