l Lord Haggis was a noble Scot of lineaze and renown.
Who for the Coronation had to London journeyed down
But, strange to say, on al! the pomp he scarcely fixed his eyes
When once he'd met that lady fair, the charming Widow Wise
2. "Hpot man !. exclaimed the noble lord, "a bonny lass is she !

3. And so he asked the Widow and her friends- if they would come
lo spend a week of shooting at his Scottish highland home ;
And, weary witjvthe season's rush, the prospect gave them thrills.

Amid such grand and rugged scenes, with nature at its best,
No wonder that romance should spring within the Widow's breast v
And when she saw Lord Haeris in his kilted native frarb.
Alas ! once more Ker tender heart felt Cupid's honeyed barb..

7. Tfte Widow went and waited long for him to come and speak,
When suddenly from near at hand she heard a frightful shriek i
'Tis he P she cried. "HVs been attacked !" She started, help to call,
Hoot, lass P she heard Lord Haggis. Twas my bagpipes, that was all !'
