Rller "Wise" Bird In Game.
It will be observed that Ksufmsnn
and Langford axe eligible under the
terms of challenge, but I guesa there Is
little to be feared from either of those
gladiators, aa both have other con
tracts on hand which promise to keep
them busy for a long time. However.
I am In-lined to the opinion that Con
Klley would have blue penciled the
challenge somewhat before giving It to
the press had he the opportunity. Con

New Yorkers are still talking about
the recent Wolgast-Brown battle and
hardly know whether to give "Knock

more recent years a cttlsen of Paris.
McVey haa been In pretty soft In Paris
for the laat year or two and the pick

met with waa when Joe Jeannette made
him quit In a finish fight, but the
Frenchmen have long ago forgiven and
forgotten that little Incident and once
more regard him aa Invincible. Lanx

may outpoint him for IS rounds or so
he will put the kibosh on the man who
licked Australia's champion In a finish

about It. too, for he haa put his foot
