tea last Wednesday at her attractive new
home on Terrace Drive. She entertained

guest of Mr. and Mrsi Northup for a

Mrs. Henry Fairbanks (Miss Frances
Lewis), who was the guest of her
mother, Mrs. C. H. Lewis, for a fort
night, left the city Tuesday for her

Cheever, of Boston, who was for two
weeks the guest of her sister, Mra G.
S. Whiteside. Several large affairs, in
cluding a tea at the home of Mrs. C. H.
Lewis and a luncheon at which Mrs. L.
Allen Lewis was hostess were given for
Mrs.- Fairbanks and many entertain
ments, mainly informal dinners and
theater parties, had Miss Cheever as
their motif. The departure of both
women is regretted by their social acquaintances.
