PLOT IS TRACED TO RATS
Two Traps Solve Mystery of Flowing

That rats were guilty of a determined

aa Investigation of the mystery Friday
night.
On two occasions the gas Jets on the

been found turned on full force, late at

The case was first reported to the police

a smell of gas oomlng from the restau

found a gas Jet turned on and a light
burning. Tha room was full of gas and
a destructive explosion was probably
averted by the timely discovery. Byrne
told the police that the opening of the
gas Jet might be part of a plot to destroy
ths restaurant. Patrolman Madden and
Fire Marshal W. H. Blerly could find
nothing to show who had opened the Jet.

It again flooded with gas. The two men
reported their discovery to Fltssimmons.
Kan declared that no one had a key to
the place, and Fltssimmons decided that
rats were the only possible offenders.
Upon his advice. Kan placed two traps
on the range, right by the thumb-screws,
and shortly after midnight yesterday
morning he and Fltssimmons went back
to the restaurant. They found a rat In
each trap. The cocks, from long use,

Fit, wear, satisfy and insure you against corset troubles. The
most potent charm of womanly beauty is a perfect figure at
tained only through wearing a perfect corset correctly fitted.
Royal Worcester Corsets enhance and beautify every figure,
moulding the form until it assumes the graceful and symmetrical
lines of the ideal. All this and more is accomplished with ease
and fully in accord with the laws of health and hygiene. Ill
fitting poorly-made corsets destroy the very charms which nature
intended should be emphasized, and many a fine figure has been
marred by lack of attention to that most important factor, the
correct corset and how to wear it. Ask our corsetiere to assist you.
