The all-East Sid? carline will be merged into the Rus-sell-Shaver-street line today, and here after will run to Shaver street in Mult nomah Addition. It has been in operation over two years, run ning from Hawthorne avenue pad Holla day avenue and Larrabee street, at the east end of the railroad bridge. At first the public was slow to take advantage of the line, but it is now crowded in the evening and is the most popular line on the East Side. Its extension to .Multno mah Addttjon means that the East Side gets a better through line.
