FUEL PROBLEM SOLVED
A Xew Invention Saves Half the
Price of Fuel. ,
The most recent of inventions that is
really practical and a money-saver Is the
Port Orient Oil Burner, which can be
Installed in a few minutes in cook atoves,
heating stoves, furnaces or other fire
places.
The heat Is produced by a combination
of 20 per cent gas formed from either
distillate or coal oil, and SO per cent air.
A pure hydrocarbon gas ia formed that
makes the cleanest and most economical
heat possible; There is no smoke, soot
or odor.
From a conservative -view there Is a
saving of at least 50 per cent over wood,
coalr city gas or other fuel.
Previous to this invention fire in all oil
burners was controlled by the oil valve,
but this burner reverses the principle
and the fire or flame valve now controls
the oil. No more oil 1b used than is
needed. Any size flame from a gas jet
to a 15 or 20-foot flame can be made and
it can be deflected to any part of the
stove or furnace. The heat is at all times
evenly distributed.
The Inventor. Thomas Muehlelsen, of
San Diego, Cal.. claims that tha life of
the burner Is indefinite, while the life of
the stove is prolonged five times.
You can start a fire In two minutes and
In four minutes have the oven hot enough
to bake. This will surely be the burner
of the very near future.
A local company is being formed to put
the burners on the market. Demonstra
tions are being given daily at J. J. Kad
derly"s hardware store, 130 First st.
