As Christinas Gifts
As a token of a "Merry Christmas" nothing can be more pleas
ing than a garment of fur.
Their aristocratic richness and luxuriousness most finely inter
pret the sentiments of the season.
And unquestionably Fashion's finest garments are Silverf ield
Furs.
The beauty of every Silverfield Fur is REAL.
The brilliancy and luster and depth of color-tone is natural.
For the most famous fur regions of the world are the scource
of Silverfield Furs.
And every pelt is trapped in the depth of Winter, when the fur
is thickest and finest and sleekest and glossiest and of silkiest
softness.
For more than twenty years the name of The Silverfield Fur
Company has been unquestioned as a guarantee of genuineness.
And today Silverfield Furs are recognized as STANDARD for
Fur quality. i
The Fur Question
Whom Will You Trust
When You Buy Furs
J. wWWJ
Am
. mm lit
This is the supreme question in fur-buying. Furs, like diamonds,
need an expert to value them, and the wise buyer will not trust his
own superficial judgment, nor that of a merchant who sells what
he buys, without knowledge of skins or workmanship.
House of Silverfield Knows Furs
THEY HAVE KNOWN THEM FOR MANY YEARS, and they
now handle more furs than any house on the Pacific Coast. Their
trappers bring their skins from every fur-bearing country in the
United States and Canada, as well as from Europe. They have so
long practiced the difficult craft of fur-matching and fur-sewing
that their experts excel in that which contributes in large propor
tion to the value of a fur garment. THE WORK IS DONE IN
THEIR OWN FACTORY, UNDER THEIR OWN SUPERVIS
ION, and the fit and finish of a Silverfield fur garment is pro
verbial. With these facilities in one harmonious organization
FROM SILVERFIELD TRAPPER TO SILVERFIELD
PATRON every buyer may be sure of the greatest fur values,
latest fur styles and most moderate prices. Not only do these
facilities apply to their collection of high-priced furs, such as
NATURAL RUSSIAN SABLE, HUDSON BAY SABLE,
GENUINE ROYAL ERMINE, ALASKA MINK,
SILVER FOX, BROADTAIL, ETC.
Entire satisfaction is also guaranteed in lower-priced
goods, such as '
PERSIAN LAMB, RUSSIAN PONY, CARACUL,
LYNX, FOX, ASTRAKHAN AND OTHER
DEPENDABLE FURS
Can you afford to trust any other than the most ex
pert in selection and purchase of Fur Garments? We
invite the most careful comparison of values.
