In all your life you never have had and during the remainder of your
life you never will have such an opportunity as this to loan money
to a railroad company for 30 years, collecting 5 a year, payable semi
annually, on the par value, $100. Furthermore, you will never be able
to secure such gilt-edged an investment as this on such easy terms.
You can buy one or a dozen OGEAN SHORE BONDS, pay $16
down on each one and $10 per month. In eight months the bonds are
yours. By that time there will be an interest payment due and it will
be yours. Interest on bonds is not problematical but an absolute cer
tainty. Dividends from stock investments cannot be depended upon.
It is reassuring to know that your money is placed in a safe place. The
Mercantile Trust Company of San 'Francisco holds a mortgage on all
the assets of the OCEAN SHORE RAILWAY COMPANY, about
$5,000,000, to secure the payment of the interest. When it is due, twice
a year, all you have to do is to, clip the coupon that falls due, deposit
it in your bank or send it to the Mercantile Trust Company and the
transaction is complete. There is nothing easier than carrying a bond
investment nothing safer. See us about it at your pleasure.
