Would you buy a stock which is now selling at less than 20 per cent of
its actual value if you were convinced that it would be worth more than
five times its present market price in less than one year?
And that it would be paying dividends at the rate of 40 per cent per
annum on its present market value in eight months from today?
I KNOW SUCH A STOCK
I have had the property examined by the most competent engineers
in the United States. Their reports have been that the property will be
AN ENORMOUS DIVIDEND
PAYER
Several of Portland's wealthiest and most successful business men
have large permanent investments in this stock. You may ask them
about it if you wish. I will tell you who they are. They will confirm my
statements. j
JAMES S. PARNELL SAID:
"Opportunity is a horse, which stands saddled and bridled ONCE
at every man's door; mount: him and ride to success! Or else your
retribution is, and shall forever be, to listen to the echo of his hoof
beats as he gallops down thi corridors of time."
THIS IS YOOR OPPORTUNITY
ASK ME ABOUT THIS; STOCK, I can absolutely prove its value
and all statements made herein. Portland; Oregon, April 12, 1908.

Sales Bulls and Shorts
Active Bidders.
CHICAGO, April 11. The wheat market
was strong all day. the May delivery
showing the greatest strength owing to
the npparently congested condition of that
option. The principal bullish influence
was the dry weather in the Southwest.
The smallness of the primary movement,
however, was an important factor. .Bull
leaders and shorts were active bidders for
wheat the greater part of the day. This
demand forced prices Hie to 214c above
tho lowest point. A reaction of about
lc occurred during the final half hour
because of liberal realizing sales, but the
market closed firm. May opened Vic
to 18 mc higher at Sl'ic to 92c, ad
vanced to 93Vic and closed at 2),c.
Small receipts and the shafp advance in
wheat brought out a brisk demand for
com which resulted In material gains In
the price of all deliveries. The close was
strong. May closed" at KFtfiGKc.
Oats displayed considerable firmness.
May closed at 53-c.
Provisions were firm because of the
strength of grain and because of a 5c
advance In live hogs. Trade was of small
proportions. At the close May pork was
up 7Ac, lard was 2Hc higher and ribs were
up 2'ft5c.
