CAR SERVICER IMPROVED
Committee Reports Progress to the
Woodstock Push Club.
At a meeting of the Woodstock Push
Club Friday night the . committee on
streetcar service reported that four fine
new carat had. been pat on' the Wood-
stock, line and ,that the service had 'seen
Improved. It was also reported that the
matter of extending; the Woodstock car
line eastward from its present end had
been taken .up with good prospects ot
success. A Bonus of $3000 to XM Is to
be raised to induce the railway company
to make the extension. Assurances were
givin that the company will make the
extension If this money is raised. It is
proposed to build east to Tremont, about
one mile, . which will provide streetcar
service to a large territory.

by the failure of the company to double

and his son Thomas were drowned Thurs
day night near Langiey. The remarkable
