With an ad monition to go home and remain with liis parents. Judge l-Yazer. of the Juvenile Court, gave Fred Staigerwald his liberty yesterday. The hoy, who is 1G years old, was arrested a week ago on suspicion of having assisted in a highway robbery. Staigerwald proved that he was at the T. M. C. A. on the night of the holdup and that lie had no knowledge of it. He also denied stealing goods from Henry Robe, a confectioner, by whom he was formerly employed. HniiiF.R Sai.aiues FOR Tkachkrs. Reso lutions favoring an increase in the sala ries of Oregon school teachers were adopted at the meeting of the Multnomah County Teachers' Progress Club held in Hie City Hall yesterday morning. The organization also commended the press for the stand taken upon the question. Another resolution was adopted indorsing the movement to make more stringent requirements of those receiving first and third-grade certificates. For Sale.
