WEATHER CONDITIONS
There has been a sreneral decrease In pres
sure In the North Pacific States during the
last 24 hours, due to the eastward move
ment of a disturbance from the ocean, the
renter of which Is this evening central over
British Columbia. It has caused rain in
Washington and. along the immediate coast,
and increasing; cloudiness and warmer
weather elsewhere In the Pacific Northwest.
Southwest storm warnings announcing 'the
approach of this utorm were displayed at all
seaports In Washington at 7:15. o'clock this
morning and this evening at 5:S0 o'clock
they were ordered displayed -at- the .mouth of
the Columbia River and along the Oregon
roast.
Unsettled rainy weather will prevail Sun
day In the North Pacific States, with brisk
gusty south to west winds. At sea moderate
southwesterly gales are probable.

Moody Resigns From Ticket.
ABERDEEN, Wash., Nov. 25. (Special.)
R N. Moody, nominee for Mayor on the
Law and Order ticket having resigned,
Ben Sheeks, a prominent member of the
bar, has been selected for the office by
the executive committee. Mr. Sheeks was
the nominee for the office of City Attor
ney on the Law and Order ticket, which
he resigned to accept the nomination for
Mayor.

OREGON CITY, Or., Nov. 25. (Special.)
- Mayor Wood and Councilman Frank Mc
Oown. representing the City Council of
Waltsburg, Wash., today inspected the fil
tering plant of the Oregon City water
works. Waltsburg contemplates install
ing a filtering system In connection with
Its waterworks. The refined product from
the system here used analyzes 99.8 per
cnt pure.
