12 THE SUNDAY OKEGOiNIAN, PORTLA2TO, AUGUST 10, 1902. ESS DENTISTRY A SUCCESS That the people appreciate painless methods, considerate treatment and moderate charges In connection with dental work, has been proven by our wonderful success since we began to tell the public of our system. The portraits show the force of operators that are required at the present time to handle the business we have built up. They are all thoroughly competent and reliable. A written guarantee, backed by the reputation tf fifteen years' established practice in Portland, Is given with all work. PLATE TROUBLE Plate trouble is a common thing, and there are various kinds of it. Many plates never were right. Others are prop erly made, but the mouth is not placed in proper condition for the wearing of plates. The membranes become tender, red and inflamed. The gums become swollen and the plate is uncomfortable. Sometimes a little shaping, or a little grind ing, or polishing, is sufficient. Occasionally a plate is so ut terly wrong as to be worthless. If your plates re in any way unsatisfactory, we will be glad to make an examination and tell you the cause of the trouble. Our flexible rubber plates have been found to give per fect satisfaction where persons had worn a number of plates of different makes with constant annoyance and positive dis comfort. Ve guarantee our flexible rubber plate to give satisfaction. DR. "W. JL. "WISH Manager, Is a non-graduate; has taken the practitioners' course In the American. Fifteen Years' Established Practice in Portland.......... Do you know that the longer you de lay visiting a dentist, the worse your teeth decay? Tooth troubles are universally progressive, and prompt attention to de caying teeth often saves expense. Often if a tooth is neglected, it may become so diseased that extraction must be re sorted to. This is unfortunate, especially if it be a front tooth. We have a variety of methods of extracting teeth, and each one is guaranteed to be positively and absolutely painless. Patients are allowed to express a preference. Our Vapor method is generally preferred. Wise "Ha! Ha! Ha! It Didn't Hurt a Bit" Is a common expression of patients whom we have just operated on. . We never extract a tooth that can be saved. Our electrical instruments and ap pliances throughout are the most ad vanced known to the dental science. BLR. H, A.
